- Ambe Tebong was born in Bamenda, Cameroon. Best known as DENZYL, he is a prolific African Hip Hop musician and songwriter. He was an original member of the R&B/Hip Hop group the X MATES. Denzyl joined the music industry in 1999, went to Nigeria at the age of 13, worked with Kennis Music and other Nigerian Entertainment houses. It's now impossible to talk about the emerging African Hip Hop music scene (or Afro-Hop, as we call it) without making mention of the name DENZYL. DENZYL is a Cameroonian-born Afro-beat, Hip Hop artiste who, no doubt, promises to leave an indelible mark in the ever expanding realm of international Hip Hop. His debut album - entitled ‘’E Don Blow’’ - was produced in Nigeria by J Sleek, the same producer who has worked with powerful African names like 2 Face, Faze, Chuddy k and Sound Sultan. Some songs were also produced by Jedi of Chillen Music a Buea, Cameroon-based recording studio. ‘’E Don Blow‘’ is a rich and stunning package that is receiving international acclamation by all music lovers. The album's international release is currently being negotiated under the management of Barthson Global Communications LLC (BGC), based in Long Beach, CA, USA.
